HARSHAN WEERACKODY, M.D. F.A.C.C.
Some of the best experience to be gained in the medical profession comes from working at very busy hospitals in metropolitan areas. Dr. Weerackody brought that experience with him when he came to us in 2004 from Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn.
He is a graduate of the St. George's University School of Medicine in the West Indies. He completed his residency and fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the Coney Island Hospital.
Dr. Weerackody is board certified in cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology.
He is an international traveler as well as an accomplished amateur photographer. His photographs have appeared in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA).
