JOHN RESPASS, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Dr. Respass has joined The Heart Center as our second electrophysiologist (EP) and is working in close concert with our EP Medical Director, Dr. Sankar Varanasi.

After finishing his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry, cum laude, at Yale University, Dr. Respass achieved his medical degree at New York University (NYU). Following this educational pathway, he completed his internship and residency training at Yale - New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut and immediately entered into his fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester, MA.

After recently finishing his EP Fellowship training at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester, MA, Dr. Respass has settled into our beautiful Hudson Valley and resides in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Dr. Respass is Board Certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology.
