Coronary Interventional Procedures

We at The Heart Center use a variety of non-surgical procedures to diagnose and treat patients with heart decease. For a brief summary of some of these procedures, see below, or call for any questions or to set up an appointment.

Atherectomy: This technique removes fatty material clogging narrowed coronary arteries.

PTCA - Coronary Angioplasty: widens narrowed coronary arteries through the use of a balloon at the end of a catheter.
