The Heart Center congratulates partner Simon Gorwara in making Hudson Valley’s top 101 doctors!  In the specialty of Cardiovascular disease, Dr. Simon Gorwara, Director of the Peripheral Vascular Program of The Heart Center was the only cardiologist profiled from Dutchess County  and one of only seven listed through the region.

An award winning physician, Dr. Gorwara has the unique qualification of obtaining quadruple board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Interventional Cardiology and Critical Care Medicine.  Dr. Gorwara  is affiliated with Vassar Brothers Medical Center(Poughkeepsie) where he is the Director of Interventional Cardiology, as well as St. Francis Hospital(Poughkeepsie), St. Lukes (Newburgh) and Northern Dutchess Hospital(Rhinebeck).  His fellowships included  cardiac intervention at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center as well as general cardiology at SUNY at Stonybrook and Critical Care at North Shore University Hospital.
