Hudson Valley Heart Center, with its main office in Poughkeepsie, NY, was granted full accreditation by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories (ICAEL).  The Heart Center's echocardiography service is included in the first one thousand such laboratories in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico to be so recognized for its commitment to high quality patient care and its provision of excellent diagnostic testing.  Echocardiography is a noninvasive test to image the heart and major blood vessels using high frequency sound waves.
