The Heart Center congratulates long time partner Lawrence S. Schek, MD, FACC on his achievement of board certification in Nuclear Cardiology. This voluntary process provides a rigorous examination to assess the level of knowledge demonstrated by Nuclear Cardiology specialists. Former Chief of Cardiology and President of Medical Staff at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Currently on the Board of Trustees of Health Quest. Dr. Schek is also Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Schek and his associates at the Heart Center have been trained at some of the USA's top educational institutions and are all Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine. The Heart Center also has the unique status of being the only medical facility in the Hudson Valley to achieve National Accreditation in Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology and Non Invasive Vascular Testing.
