The Heart Center congratulates managing partner Daniel O'Dea, MD, FACC on becoming the first cardiologist in Dutchess County to become Board certified in Cardiovascular CT. The certification process involved a combination of educational seminars, practical experience, a review of cases performed and a rigorous examination. Dr. O'Dea, who has personally performed more than 3,000 invasive coronary angiograms, is also Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular disease. He is the Chief of Cardiology at Vassar Brother Medical and the Director of the CT program at the Heart Center. Dr. O'Dea and his associates at the Heart Center have been trained at some of the USA's top educational institutions and are all Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine. The Heart Center also has the unique status of being the only medical facility in the Hudson Valley to achieve National Accreditation in Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology and Non Invasive Vascular Testing.
